About Us 

Howard Home Improvements was started in 1972 by Michael Howard Sr. This was the time that aluminum siding was on the rise in the local area. Michael’s father was previously an aluminum siding salesman, while his brother showed him the installation and trade of hanging aluminum siding. Michael then started off his own aluminum siding business. For many years to come, this led to most exterior home projects such as windows, doors, roofs, porches, decks and additions.

In 1988, Michael’s son, Michael Howard Jr. joined his father. Michael Jr. was of age to join the workforce and had already spent most of his time working with his father. Following his father's footsteps, Michael Jr. started his apprenticeship in residential construction.

Through the years, the father and son team, worked side-by-side. The company changed with the times and customer’s wants and needs. Mike Sr. and Mike Jr. spent the majority of their time making the interior of their customer’s homes beautiful by specializing in kitchens, bathrooms, custom moldings, interior painting, additions and more. 

After working by his father’s side for over  25 years, Mike Jr. took over in 2011, while still offering our customers the same quality craftsmanship that the business has been offering for over 52 years.
